The story starts 22 years ago when the founder of the brand, Mr. Bilal Ibrahim, started with only one product under "Lio" in Syria. Then, the brand expanded year after year to cover every inch of the Syrian market with Tuna, Tea, and Rice products. More products were introduced between 2000 and 2010 until we reached more than 80 unique products. Eight years later, Sindyan company for food manufacturing opened to produce canned food in cans and jars with the highest safety and hygiene standards. Sindyan is the sister company of Metro Trading Company which is the owner of Lio. After only four years, the factory got a vast expansion to add a coffee factory to produce Lio ground Coffee, which is the latest product to the Lio family.
